Just a quick update, today I will start with Spanish lessons given by the Hotel which will be held two times a week until the end of my placement. This will hopefully improve my Spanish a bit and allow me to communicate with my non-English speaking colleagues.

Had the weekend off with a lot of sun on the beach at Playa de las Américas, please find some pictures below:

Work has been pretty quite yesterday due to the low occupancy (56%) but we did finish an hour earlier which was nice.

    Hello Dennis.
    It seems you’re having a good time over there. Hasta la vista??? Spanish lessons, not a bad idea. Seems like a very nice hotel… We’re still doing nice numbers at our restaurant and are a definite No.1 restaurant in Napier on TripAdvisor. The website you designed for us works really well for us and it is nice for us to be able to add the daily entries from our guestbook at the online visitors book. It seems that your mum had a good time at the Tongariro crossing.
    Stay out of trouble and at the same time try to have a good time.
